Job DetailsJob Location: East Point, GA 30344Make Healthy. Make Delicious. Make a Difference. At Arden’s Garden, our mission is simple: make healthy easy. Behind every fresh, delicious food item our customers find in an Arden’s Garden retail store is a team of people who care about quality, consistency, and doing things the right way. We’re looking for a Culinary Production Associate to join our Production Kitchen and help bring our recipes to life. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with food, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands that the little details matter. You don’t have to be a celebrity chef, but you do need to be comfortable in a kitchen, confident reading recipes and measurements, willing to learn, and committed to following directions accurately every time. If you take pride in your work, love being part of a team, and get satisfaction from seeing something you helped make land on store shelves for customers to enjoy, we’d love to meet you. What You’ll Do As a Culinary Production Associate, you’ll help prepare the food products sold throughout Arden’s Garden retail stores. You’ll work alongside our production team to ensure every batch meets our standards for taste, freshness, quality, consistency, and food safety. Culinary Production Prepare and produce Arden’s Garden food items according to established recipes, specifications, and production schedules. Read, understand, and accurately follow recipes from start to finish. Measure and weigh ingredients carefully using the appropriate kitchen tools and equipment. Follow recipe quantities, measurements, preparation methods, cooking times, and temperatures precisely. Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, chopping, mixing, portioning, and performing other approved food-preparation tasks. Batch recipes accurately while maintaining consistency from one production run to the next. Assist with portioning, packaging, labeling, and preparing finished products for distribution to our retail stores. Verify ingredients and quantities before beginning production to help prevent mistakes and unnecessary waste. Pay close attention to product appearance, texture, taste, portion size, and overall quality. Communicate immediately with a supervisor when a recipe, ingredient, measurement, or production instruction is unclear. Quality & Attention to Detail Around here, “close enough” isn’t close enough. Our customers expect their favorites to taste great every time, and your attention to detail helps make that happen. You’ll be expected to: Follow recipes and production procedures exactly as written. Double-check measurements, ingredients, labels, and quantities. Maintain consistency across every batch. Recognize when something doesn’t look or seem right and speak up before moving forward. Follow instructions carefully and ask questions when clarification is needed. Complete assigned production tasks accurately and efficiently. Take ownership of the quality of the products you help create. Food Safety & Cleanliness A clean kitchen is a happy kitchen—and, more importantly, a safe one. You’ll help: Follow all Arden’s Garden food-safety, sanitation, hygiene, and production procedures. Follow proper handwashing, glove, PPE, and food-handling requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout your shift. Clean and sanitize work surfaces, utensils, containers, and approved equipment according to established procedures. Follow proper ingredient storage, labeling, rotation, and temperature-control procedures. Help keep the Production Kitchen clean, organized, and inspection-ready. Immediately report food-safety, quality, equipment, or sanitation concerns to leadership. Teamwork & Production Our Production Kitchen is a team sport. Everyone has a role in getting fresh, high-quality products to our stores accurately and on time. You’ll: Work collaboratively with fellow production team members and kitchen leadership. Follow daily production schedules and priorities. Move with a sense of urgency while never sacrificing quality or safety. Communicate clearly and respectfully with teammates. Help teammates when needed to keep production moving. Maintain an organized workspace and return ingredients, tools, and supplies to their proper locations. Help minimize ingredient and product waste through careful preparation and accurate measurements. Be dependable, punctual, and ready to contribute at the start of each scheduled shift. Bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn every day. You’ll Love This Job If You… Get weirdly excited when every container is portioned perfectly. Believe recipes are instructions, not suggestions. Notice the one label that’s crooked when everyone else walks past it. Like working with your hands and seeing what you accomplished at the end of a shift. Can move quickly without sacrificing quality. Enjoy being part of a hardworking team. Take pride in keeping your workspace clean and organized. Want your work to have a direct impact on what customers eat and enjoy. Believe healthy food can be convenient, affordable, and delicious. What Success Looks Like You’re crushing it in this role when: Recipes are followed accurately and consistently. Measurements and portions are correct. Finished products meet Arden’s Garden quality expectations. Production is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. Your workstation stays clean, organized, and production-ready. Food-safety and sanitation procedures become second nature. Waste and avoidable production errors are kept to a minimum. Your teammates know they can count on you. Our retail stores receive fresh, consistent, high-quality food that we’re proud to put the Arden’s Garden name on. Why Arden’s Garden? At Arden’s Garden, we’re passionate about making healthy living easier, more accessible, and more affordable. Every product we make is an opportunity to help someone make a healthier choice.
