Mt. Olive Early Learning Center (MOELC), a faith-based Seventh-day Adventist early learning center, is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and energetic Lead Toddler 1 Teacher to join our team. Lead Toddler 1 Teacher (13–23 Months)
Employment Type:
Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 30–35 hours per week
Pay Rate:
$10.00–$12.00 per hour
Compensation is based on education, experience, and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered learning environment for toddlers.
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and classroom activities.
  • Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual development.
  • Maintain daily communication with families through ProCare.
  • Complete daily classroom documentation, observations, and incident reports.
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom while following all Bright from the Start health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Follow proper diapering, supervision, and classroom management procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with administration and fellow teachers to create a positive team environment.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and required trainings.
Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting
  • Knowledge of Georgia Bright from the Start regulations
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day
  • Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
