The Servicing Operations Sr. Specialist will have the responsibility of supporting the receiving and delivery of all incoming mail. Along with this core duty, the Servicing Operations Sr. Specialist will also be expected to perform daily tasks in compliance with procedures, service level agreements, and quality standards. This role demands proficiency in various applications, procedures, and computer skills. 

The Delivery Solutions group operates in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with critical Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Due to the nature of this environment, precision and attention to detail are crucial as any errors can directly impact our customers. As a result, the Servicing Operations Sr Specialist will be required to collaborate with vendors, branch, and back-office colleagues regularly.

Primary responsibilities include

  •  Manage the receipt, sorting, and distribution of incoming mail and packages.
  •  Prepare and process outgoing mail and shipments efficiently.
  • Review and research incoming mail items to identify proper ownership and ensure accurate distribution to the correct team.
  •  Research and respond to internal inquiries from colleagues across the organization.
  •  Digitize mail, internal correspondence, and customer documents for electronic records.
  •  Perform advanced clerical tasks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  •  Utilize package tracking systems to monitor and manage deliveries.
  •  Apply knowledge of business unit products, applications, and procedures to daily tasks.
  •  Effectively multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and cross-train within the department as needed.
  •  Identify and resolve issues while adhering to service level agreements.
  •  Independently manage special projects, collaborating with all levels of management and serving as a key resource for the business unit.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements to minimize financial risk and use expertise in multiple systems to troubleshoot issues.
  • May manage reporting responsibilities and take on administrative duties as required.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Understanding of department procedures and key practices
  • Ability to identify areas of improvement in personal work and processes
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Team Player
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • May require driving a company vehicle to transport deliveries between Johnston and East Providence offices or to the USPS. 

Education:

  • High school or equivalent required

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: 7:30 - 4:00, Monday - Friday, position requires working fully on site in Riverside RI (will work at Johnston office location as needed)
