Â
Independently operates production equipment and workstations while ensuring product quality and equipment reliability. This role is responsible for routine setups, adjustments, operator-level maintenance, and in-process inspections to support efficient and consistent manufacturing output.

Essential Job Functions *
Â
- Independently operate assigned equipment or production cells with minimal supervision.
- Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and parameter adjustments according to specifications.
- Monitor production performance, including cycle time, scrap, and throughput, and take corrective action as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve routine mechanical or process‑related issues without escalation.
- Conduct first‑piece, in‑process, and final inspections in accordance with control plans.
- Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional and functional requirements.
- Complete standard operator preventive maintenance tasks to support equipment reliability.
- Accurately document production results, quality data, downtime, and maintenance activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Support the onboarding and training of Manufacturing Technician I employees.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
Â
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or related experience.

- Knowledge of machine operation, setup requirements, and basic mechanical principles within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Ability to independently operate production equipment while meeting safety, quality, and productivity expectations.
- Skill in performing first‑piece, in‑process, and final inspections using measuring tools and specifications.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve routine equipment or process issues without direct supervision.
- Knowledge of quality standards, control plans, and inspection requirements applicable to assigned processes.
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and maintain steady production flow.
- Ability to support training and knowledge transfer to less experienced technicians.
