Description


  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on fleet vehicles, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues, such as engine, transmission, and brake problems, in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Perform electrical system diagnostics and repairs, including troubleshooting wiring issues and replacing faulty components.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including parts inventory and service history.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and environmental standards in all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Assist with the installation and calibration of vehicle accessories and aftermarket components as needed.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules and prioritize repairs based on operational needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical training program in automotive or diesel mechanics preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in fleet maintenance or a similar role, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
