Valley Medical Group is looking for an Custodial Coordinator to join our Facilities team and support all four centers (Easthampton, Northampton, Amherst and Greenfield) . If you are looking for a dynamic environment, this is your opportunity!
Position: Custodial Coordinator
Hours: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Location: All four locations (Amherst, Easthampton, Greenfield, and Northampton)
Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, the Custodial Supervisor will assign and supervise the daily activities of Custodians of all VMG locations. As the Custodial Supervisor you will be responsible for hiring, training and scheduling of all Custodians. Inventory control will also be a part of this position.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 5 years working as a Custodian
- 3 years of Management/ Supervisor experience
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Must possess basic math and reading/writing skills.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing in English.
- Must be skilled in the use of a personal computer and various software programs.
Physical Requirement:
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting required.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
