POSITION SUMMARY
C&K Plastics is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician with a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems. This role is ideal for an individual with a passion for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment, ensuring smooth operations, and working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery, motors, conveyors, and electrical circuits.
- Inspect, test, and monitor equipment performance and functionality to ensure optimal operation.
- Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical failures, making necessary repairs or replacements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and standards.
- Assist in the installation and set-up of new equipment and machinery.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to perform preventative maintenance.
- Support facility improvements and operational efficiency initiative
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, with strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, motors, and mechanical components.
- Experience with tools and equipment used in both mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and other industry regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Technical certification or vocational training preferred).
- Ability to work flexible hours.
Desired Experience:
- Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or similar environments.
- Skills are beneficial.
WORK CONDITIONS
The employee will work both on the manufacturing floor and in the maintenance shop and office. Normal plant environment which may include exposure to dust, and both hot and cold conditions. Must be capable of wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) necessary to comply with government and company safety standards. Must be able to walk, stand, and lift objects, up to 50lbs.

Second Shift: 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM
Must be willing to work rotating shift schedule if needed
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $26.00
