This is a full-time or part-time, hybrid role as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) serving a school located in Easton, MD. 

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs. 

Job Details

  • Part-time school-based opportunity with a 20-hour weekly schedule
  • Full-time and part-time opportunities available
  • 2026–2027 academic year (August 2026 through May 2027)
  • Flexible hybrid position with a combination of in-person services and remote responsibilities
  • Provide support to students across PreK through 12th grade within a school-based setting
  • Deliver direct therapy services, complete student evaluations, provide consultation to educational teams, and manage assigned caseload responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and educational goals
  • Guaranteed paid hours include direct services, documentation, planning, meetings, and administrative responsibilities
  • Maintain a manageable caseload while providing high-quality, individualized student support
  • Receive ongoing collaboration and guidance from both the partnering school district and the TheraPeds Partners team
  • Competitive compensation of $55–$65+ per hour, with estimated weekly earnings of approximately $1,100–$1,300+

Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD degree from a Speech-Language Pathology program
  • State License as Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Department of Education Licensure as a SLP
  • National License: ASHA 
  • Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
  • CF-SLP placement may be available
  • Experience working with children
  • Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in use of technology
  • Fingerprint background clearance
  • Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications

Physical Requirements

Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
