What you'll do...

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Press Brake Operator to join our team of precision sheet metal fabricators. This role combines hands-on machine expertise with precision measurement, material knowledge and strong problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically skilled and committed to producing accurate precision sheet metal parts.

Press Brake Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form and shape metal components.
  • Select correct tooling based on each job's parameters.
  • Work with steel, aluminum and stainless steel.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Adjust machine settings for different materials and thicknesses.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment.

What you bring...

Experience & Background

  • 3+ years experience operating press brake machinery in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
  • Experience working with a variety of metals across different thicknesses.
  • Skilled in maintaining tight tolerances throughout production runs.
  • Familiarity with bend calculations to ensure accurate finished parts.
  • Experience with quality control processes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Technical & Operational Skills

  • Experience setting up press brake and selecting appropriate tooling.
  • Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, angle gauges and other inspection tools as well as miscellaneous hand and power tools.
  • Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Problem solving skills and critical thinking.
  • Familiarity with Amada equipment a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Lifting/Pulling 50 lbs
  • Standing for extended periods of time
  • Perform repetitive motions, including bending, reaching and handling materials.
