What’s new with Aptar

We have an exciting position open for a Shipping Technician in Eatontown, NJ.  This role is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping and receiving warehouse items.

This is how your journey begins:

• You will load, unload, ship, and receive.
• You will transport materials to different locations within the facility.
• You will optimize load to ensure operational efficiency.
• You will secure loads before transportation.
• You will Inspect for damages to vehicles.
• You will operate and manage technical equipment.
• You will manage inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment.
• You will pick and wrap orders for shipment.
• You will Identify workplace safety hazards.
• You will adhere to safety management standards.
• You will adhere to production schedules.

 What you will bring on the journey

• Education

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Forklift Certificate

• Experience

• Knowledge of all types of equipment (Drexel, stand up forklift, sit down forklift & electric pallet jack)

• Skills

• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners
• Mathematical aptitude
• Good organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication in English

• Travel: No travel required for this role.
