We are currently looking for a Human Resource Generalist to join our HR team! If you are passionate about people this may be a great fit for you! Major Duties and Responsibilities: Offer assistance to all employees in a friendly and confidential environment Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Communicates any job changes effectively with HR Administrator, as well as any outside contacts (Insurance, 401K, etc) Assist with enrollment questions for benefits for new hires and during open enrollment Assure that training records are accurate and up to date for all employees Provides support and data for audits (401K, EEOC) Assists with organization of and participates in company events May assist with hiring process such as tracking, job ads, and phone interviews Assists with the onboarding process for new hires including paperwork, I9 verification, drug tests, security doors access, and vending. Data entry to the payroll for both hourly and salaried employees. Provide support for the Human Resource Department. Respond to agencies needing employee information. Training coordinator for all employees Record keeping in HRIS Other duties as assigned. Is example of MN Wire core values Self Motivated but also works well in a team environment Seeks to improve processes QualificationsKnowledge and Skills: Experience: Proficient with Microsoft Suite, Paycom experience preferred, 2-4 years of Human Resource Experience Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience, SHRM-CP or PHR preferred Competencies & Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills Detail orientated and organized Ability to prioritize and multitask Be flexible and responsive to needs of the organization Preferred bi-lingual in Hmong/English
