Job Description:

Marshfield Clinic – Eau Claire is seeking a Nurse Practioner to join thriving practice in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. 

This position will be working at off-site at Dialysis centers in Eau Claire and Rice Lake.

Hours: Monday - Thursday ( 4, 8-hour days)

JOB SUMMARY

The Nurse Practitioner is a skilled member of the health team who provides medical and educational services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician, according to Nurse Practitioner Protocol, and within the scope of the Nurse Practitioner License in the State of Wisconsin.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required: Graduate of a nationally accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.

Preferred/Optional: None

EXPERIENCE

Two years nursing experience or one to two years’ experience in specialty

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES 

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position.  Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

Minimum Required: Current Applicable State Nurse License or Nurse Compact License, and Nurse Practitioner Licensure. Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire. Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department/location).

Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
