About the Role:

As a Banquet Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences during events and special occasions. Your primary objective is to ensure that guests receive attentive, courteous, and efficient service in a timely manner, contributing to the overall success of each banquet or event. You will collaborate closely with the banquet team, including kitchen staff and event coordinators, to maintain smooth operations and uphold high standards of presentation and hospitality. This role requires adaptability to various event types and sizes, from intimate gatherings to large-scale functions, while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail. Ultimately, your efforts will help create memorable experiences that encourage repeat business and positive word-of-mouth for the hosting venue.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality, preferably in banquet or event settings.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a high-volume banquet or catering environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and place settings.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously to guests during events, ensuring all dietary restrictions and preferences are accommodated.
• Clear tables and reset them efficiently between courses or events while maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Assist with the breakdown and cleanup of banquet areas after events, ensuring the space is restored to its original condition.
