About the Role

This is a rare one. You’ll be Ostra’s first dedicated BDR, which means you’re not inheriting someone else’s playbook. You’re helping write it.


The role is built around a simple but powerful idea: the right person, armed with the right AI tools, can completely reshape how outbound works at an early-stage company. That’s what we’re betting on. You’ll still be doing the real work, researching accounts, writing sequences, picking up the phone, earning conversations. But you’ll bring intelligence and intention to all of it, using AI to sharpen your targeting, personalize at scale, and spend your energy where it actually moves the needle.


You’ll work closely with an experienced Account Executive, which means the conversations you start will turn into real deals and you’ll get to see the full arc. You’ll sit close to marketing and leadership, contributing to strategy rather than just executing it.

What You’ll Do

The job is two things at once: disciplined execution and genuine creative freedom. You’ll grind the outbound motion every day while staying close enough to leadership to shape how it evolves.

  • Own the full outbound motion from first research to booked meeting, building sequences, picking up the phone, and earning conversations through genuine effort and smart targeting.
  • Use AI and intent data the way good tools are meant to be used: to make your work sharper, not to replace the parts that require a human.
  • Help shape the playbook as you run it. What you learn, test, and prove out here will have a lasting impact on how Ostra grows.

What You’ll Bring

You don’t need years of experience. You need genuine hunger and the intellectual honesty to know the difference between working hard and working smart.

  • A bias toward action and a high tolerance for ambiguity. You don’t need everything figured out before you get started, you figure it out by doing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the judgment to know when the email isn’t enough and the phone call is.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI tools and how they apply to sales. Not because we require it, but because you can’t help yourself.
