Currently hiring HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanics for projects in the Eden Prairie Minneapolis, MN and Portland, ME area. As a HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic you are responsible for fabricating, installing, and maintaining high-quality sheet metal ductwork and components and reliable performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Pay is $32 - $36 depending on experience

Per diem of $125/working day available for those who qualify.

This position is a minimum of 50 hours per week.

HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic Responsibilities:

Lay out, fabricate, and install HVAC duct systems and sheet metal components
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, and layout plans
Cut, shape, join, and assemble sheet metal using hand and power tools, ensuring precise fabrication and alignment
Install commercial ductwork, including rectangular and spiral systems, along with hangers, supports, and accessories
Hang duct, set VAVs, RTUs, diffusers, registers, dampers, and flexible components
Seal systems, ensure proper alignment, and meet quality standards
Accurately measure, cut, and assemble sheet metal materials
Follow OSHA safety standards, safety protocols, and maintain a clean, organized work area

HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic Qualifications:

5 or more years experience as sheet metal mechanic
Ability to pass a drug screen (if required)
Your own reliable transportation and valid Driver's License
Your own PPE and tools
OSHA 10 preferred
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
