Job Summary:
This position provides essential administrative and office support while serving as a primary point of contact for employees and visitors. The role oversees front desk operations and helps maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment. Responsibilities also include coordinating meeting spaces, supporting Culture Committee events, ordering and maintaining office supplies, and assisting with administrative and new hire activities. The position works collaboratively across the organization to support efficient day-to-day office operations.

Essential Job Functions:
- Manage front desk operations, including answering incoming calls, greeting visitors, handling mail, shipping/receiving packages and managing back door deliveries.Â
- Monitor and respond to shared email inboxes and voicemail.
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked shared office spaces, including reception areas, conference rooms, employee kitchen, supply rooms, and stockrooms.
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including loading and unloading dishwashers, cleaning and organizing kitchen areas, and replenishing beverages and supplies.
- Assist with planning and execution of Culture Committee events, including communications, logistics, set up and clean-up.
- Prepare and maintain meeting spaces by ensuring beverages are stocked, room is set up and clean, and any other related logistics.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including entering and processing purchase orders, coding invoices, and supporting new hire setup.
- Purchase, stock and organize supplies for meetings, events and office use.
- Analyzes problems, determines approach, compiles, and analyzes data.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in administrative and/or support staff activities.

Travel Requirements:

Location:
- SunOpta Headquarters, Eden Prairie, MN.
- Relocation or international remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be considered.
Work Environment:
- Majority of work is performed in an office environment.
- Monday-Friday 40 hours per week; some flexibility may be needed on occasion.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer, including frequent screen use and visual focus.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, mouse use, and handling documents or office equipment.
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, stretching, and reaching.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Sufficient verbal and auditory ability for communication in meetings, calls, and office settings.
