The servicing operator is involved in all areas of production.  This entry-level position consists of the following duties that are essential to operations:

  1. Moving inventory and production supplies safely from warehouse to cutting area, assembly floors, office facilities, etc 
  2. Ensure the safe and timely delivery of materials, employing the highest industry safety standards
  3. Perform quality inspections of materials, ensuring that the delivery is completed as requested and that the order meets company and industry standards
  4. Perform automatic or manual bundling of soft body armor packages
  5. Inspects and counts the layers in soft armor packages
  6. Assemble components and/ or full vest
  7. Pack finish goods into boxes following specific set of instructions
  8. Inspect items to ensure quality standards are met
  9. Consistently and accurately follow the departments Procedures and Work Instructions 
  10. Adhere to all safety policies and regulations
  11. Consistently perform at acceptable level. Achieving goals if set. 
  12. Other duties assigned 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to accurately follow instructions and procedures 
  • Availability to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Physical Demands:

  • Excellent physical fitness with the ability to lift up to a maximum of 25 pounds.
  • Standing on hard surface for extended periods 
  • Good manual dexterity to meet job responsibilities 
  • Good visualization – ability to see details at close range
  • Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for safe conduct on the manufacturing floor and to meet job responsibilities. 

Work Environment:

This job is indoors in a traditional manufacturing/warehouse setting. Activities are primarily done while standing.
