LSI is hiring for an Inventory Specialist!

Description: In addition to having great attention to detail, math, and computer skills, the inventory clerk must be forklift certified and have past experience maintaining and managing inventory, counting, and reconciling discrepancies. Prior knowledge of warehouse processes is preferred.

  • Wage: $19.50
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Shift: 7:00am-3:00pm

Essential Job Functions

  • \Perform routine cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.

  • Record, track, and update inventory data in warehouse management systems (WMS) or spreadsheets.

  • Inspect inbound and outbound materials to ensure correct quantities, proper labeling, and accuracy with documentation.

  • Investigate inventory variances by researching transaction history, material movement, and storage locations.

  • Use RF scanners or handheld devices to track and log product movement throughout the facility.

  • Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas, ensuring all materials are labeled, accessible, and stored correctly.

  • Operate forklift, for both inbound and outbound areas to assist with putting away and getting inventory setup for shipment.

  • Assist with physical inventories, including full-site annual or quarterly inventory counts.

  • Monitor product shelf life, damages, and returns, reporting issues to leadership as necessary.

  • Ensure accurate picking, staging, and replenishment of inventory to support production or shipping schedules.

  • Operate material-handling equipment (if required and certified) such as pallet jacks or forklifts for moving inventory.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and company procedures.

  • Communicate effectively regarding shortages, overages, or irregularities in inventory.
