Compensation for this role: $80K - $95K (commensurate with experience) Shift: 1st - Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Summary: The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating day-to-day manufacturing operations within a high-volume, fast-paced production environment. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of products that meet customer, quality, and delivery requirements while supporting broader operational and business objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Lead, plan, and direct production activities to ensure adherence to quality, cost, delivery, and safety targets. Foster a strong safety culture by promoting compliance with all safety policies and actively participating in continuous safety improvement initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Planning—to support organizational goals and operational excellence. Drive performance against key metrics, including cost, quality, delivery, and safety, while identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and related methodologies. Support the deployment of manufacturing strategies, standard work, control systems, and performance metrics to monitor operations, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions related to productivity, capacity, quality, and labor utilization. Onboard, train, and develop hourly employees to build a capable, engaged, and flexible workforce. Oversee timekeeping, attendance, and labor reporting in compliance with company policies. Manage area layout, material flow, and work cell organization to optimize efficiency and throughput. Ensure consistent enforcement of company policies, procedures, and standards. Maintain compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations; promptly report and address unsafe conditions. Perform additional duties as assigned in support of manufacturing operations. QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Qualifications and Education Required Minimum of an Associate’s degree in a technical or manufacturing-related field; Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering or manufacturing-related discipline preferred. Four (4) years of experience in manufacturing, production, or a related industrial environment. Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing, operations, planning, or scheduling. Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools; experience with ERP systems preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access. Acceptable vision test results (as applicable). Must have English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills sufficient to read, write, understand and communicate the company's operating procedures and policies. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
