Resident Activities Coordinator - Cooperative

Ebenezer is looking for a Resident Activities Coordinator to join our senior cooperative team at 7500 York Coop in Edina, MN! The position involves coordinating and working with the resident leaders and volunteers in the Resident Activities Committee (RAC) to provide support, counsel, leadership, and structure to their tasks and events.

This resident coordinator schedule incldues:

• 64 hours every two weeks
• Full time; Day shift
• Monday - Thursday: 8 AM - 4:30 PM
• No weekends

Responsibilities:

• Serves as a staff advisor to the Resident Activities Committee (RAC) and the various sub-committees
• Coordinates resident activities
• Organizes and creates publicity for resident activities
• Other duties as assigned and directed

Required Qualifications:

• One to three years of previous experience
• Ability to use technology in the form of computers, hand held devices, cell phone, fax machines, DVD, CD players
• Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations and manage private resident issues with dignity and respect

Preferred Qualifications:

• B.S./B.A.
• Working knowledge of graphic software, including Photoshop, photo applications and publisher or other similar programs
