About the role
English Rose caregivers work in Edina residential care homes with a 1:3 staff-to-resident ratio. This supportive environment allows you to provide meaningful, relationship-focused care to residents living with dementia and complex medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care and daily living needs
- Prepare meals, light housekeeping, and laundry
- Lead or join in daily engagement activities
- Partner with coworkers and families to deliver high-quality care
Team support
When a caregiver is unavailable, leadership or another team member fills in to maintain the 1:3 ratio. Caregivers always have access to 24/7 nurse support for resident care needs.
Qualifications
- HHA, PCA, CNA, or RA experience preferred
- Dementia care experience preferred (training provided)
- Compassionate, dependable, strong communicator
- Must be fluent in English with strong verbal communication and written documentation skills
- Able to lift 50 lbs and remain active during shifts
- Preferred: household/cooking skills; valid driver's license
