Job DetailsJob Location: McColl Branch - Edinburg, TX 78539PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION Responsible for developing and implementing training programs to educate staff on various topics including customer service, compliance, banking procedures, and product knowledge. Also, will design materials, conduct training sessions, assess training needs, and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs. Additionally, will be responsible for providing ongoing support and guidance to employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively within the credit union.  ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Train staff on operational policies and procedures relating to On-boarding, Core Skills, Technical/System, and Sales and Service. Review job description and Training Check List and Career Path with new employee to ensure the employee is trained in all aspects of position before being released for normal duties. Advise AVP of Training of completion of each training session, including Pre/Post Assessments and Summary of Training. Communicate, recommend, and follow up with the supervisor before employee is released to inform them of employee’s status (strong points and weak points) at end of training period. Perform other operational or regulatory training as directed and recommend additional training when needed. Performs branch visits to review policies and procedures with branch managers and staff. Uses visits to observe the daily operations of the branch to determine any necessary training or clarification of procedures/policy issues. Advises training staff of needs. Be in the know – stay abreast of updates and changes in Financial Compliance Rules and Regulations and current industry trends in Training Trains/conducts training sessions at outside branches when necessary. Assists with on-the job training/mentoring of staff. Must be able to work independently and as part of the team. Must be able to represent Rally Credit Union culture in a highly professional manner. This includes a professional personal appearance, and a professional group presentation manner. Deliver a range of training modalities (using classroom training, webinars, virtual classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops) for all levels of the organization with relevant and current information using modern techniques and strategies. Develop, maintain, and distribute training materials including procedure manuals. Coordinate and conduct training sessions on services, products, procedures and materials as directed. Provide input to procedures to enhance and improve operations and to comply with regulatory changes as needed. Support and mentor trainers as needed. EXPERIENCE Three (3) years’ experience assessing and meeting member needs, with two (2) of those years at a financial institution. 2-year coaching and/or training staff Teller/Member Service experience preferred. Strong Public Speaking and Presentations skills. Ability to effectively communicate through process and procedures. Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel.  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Position involves wrist / hand manipulation; frequent viewing of computer monitor; ability to lift up to 20 lbs. May be required to stand for extended periods of time. Required to speak to groups of people for part or full days. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision for frequent viewing of computer monitor and review of documents. Communication abilities required by this job includes clarity in speech and hearing for effective staff/member interaction. Must be able to drive a vehicle and have a valid driver’s license. Position involves mobility in order to perform branch training.
