Job Title: Tax Provision Manager
Location: Edison, NJ, US
Hybrid
Salary: $138,000 – $172,500 + bonus

Responsibilities

Manage tax engagements from planning to completion
Review corporate tax returns and identify tax-saving opportunities
Lead and review ASC 740 tax provision work
Supervise and mentor junior staff
Handle client communication and maintain relationships
Support tax research and respond to IRS/state inquiries

Key Requirements

Active CPA (NY) or JD with active law license
4–7+ years of corporate tax experience
Strong experience in ASC 740 (tax provisions) – preparation, review, or audit
Experience in public accounting (Top 15 or large regional firm preferred)
Experience working with large, multi-state or global companies
Must currently be at Manager level (not Senior Associate)
Stable work history (no frequent job changes)

Core Skills

Corporate income tax compliance & consulting
US GAAP and tax accounting knowledge
State & local tax, international tax, and transfer pricing exposure
Strong analytical, communication, and client management skills
Experience managing engagements and teams

Nice to Have

Experience with OneSource Tax Provision (OTP) software
