聽Eastern Metal Framing seeks a motivated, dynamic professional to work as our 聽聽Technical Services Engineer.
Responsibilities:
路 Provide size and gauge and engineering solutions to customers.聽
路 Coordinate engineering services, including maintaining relationships with engineering firms, quoting engineering, tracking engineering sales and ensuring jobs are billed
路 Spearhead company activity in CFSEI
路 Participate in trade shows.
路 Coordinate product testing for sound, fire, limiting heights, etc.聽
路 Verify technical data, including structural properties, load tables and limiting heights for all products.聽
路 Verify compliance with current building codes.
路 Participate in product development.聽
Requirements
Qualifications:
路 Strong understanding of company products, specifications and building practices
路 Comprehensive understanding of competitive products
路 Bachelor鈥檚 degree in engineering and a PE License
路 Engineering experience with cold formed steel
路 Knowledge of building codes, standards and regulations.聽
路 Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
路 Extraordinary customer service skills
