Job Summary
The Warehouse Logistics Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory handling, and deliveries. This role requires safe and efficient operation of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, and may involve driving company vehicles such as box trucks or vans. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and compliant with DOT regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general warehouse duties including picking, packing, loading, unloading, and organizing inventory
- Receive incoming shipments, inspect for accuracy and damage, and properly store materials
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (certification required)
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
- Conduct local deliveries using company vehicles (box truck/van) as needed
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance at all times
- Follow all company policies and OSHA safety standards
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate box trucks or cargo vans safely
- Must meet DOT compliance requirements for drivers (including medical certification if applicable)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (typically up to 50+ lbs)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Work Environment
- Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and equipment operation
- Occasional local travel for deliveries to healthcare facilities
