The overall purpose of the OnBase System Administrator role is to maintain and monitor the OnBase system, ensuring that all processes are working correctly. This includes performing system checks, reviewing and correcting imports, triaging Service Now tickets, and providing Active Directory assistance for end-users' access. The OnBase System Administrator I may also need to perform system resets, move document types, queries, filters, and minor changes into production, and communicate with end-users about any system changes or issues. Additionally, the position may assist with testing, quality assurance, and migration of changes, as well as end-user training and documentation of new processes. Essential Responsibilities: Maintain and monitor the OnBase system, ensuring that all processes are working correctly. Perform system checks and review and correct imports. Triage Service Now tickets and complete them within the identified SLA. Provide Active Directory assistance for end-users' access. Perform system resets and notify the team and end-users of any system changes. Move document types, queries, filters, and minor changes into production. Communicate with end-users about any system changes or issues. Review Dashboard reports on system processes and storage. Assist with testing, quality assurance, and migration of changes. Assist with end-user training and documentation of new processes. General Responsibilities: Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required. Degree in computer science, information technology or related field preferred. Experience Requirements: 0-3 years of relevant experience required. Prefer experience with the following: Enterprise software, workstation troubleshooting and enterprise deployment, creating SQL Queries and at least 1 programming language, monitoring servers used in applications, OnBase support or Administration, EMR training and experience is a plus. License/Certification/Registration Requirements: No certification required. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: Knowledge of OnBase and its processes, including imports, sweeps, and commits. Knowledge of system administration, including performing system checks, resets, and restarts, and moving items to production. Knowledge of computers and patient care information systems. Ability to solve moderate to complex problems and understand customer needs. Knowledge of professional theory, practices, techniques and procedures. Understanding of healthcare business process and technology. Understanding of healthcare workflows and terminology. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and effectively as a member of a team. Ability to communicate effectively with team members, leaders, and end-users, and to escalate issues as needed. Ability to participate in testing, quality assurance, and migration of changes, as well as assist in the creation of test plans and strategies.
