Strong organizational skills, demonstrates accuracy, and attention to detail. Essential Job Functions Responsible for complying with all applicable banking laws and regulations. Responsible for complying with all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering regulations, and the Office of Foreign Asset Control regulations. Assists the customers using Interactive Teller machines with banking needs such as withdrawing or depositing cash, cashing checks or making loan payments. Answers questions for customers regarding their accounts via phone, email and online banking chat. Cashes checks and processes withdrawals; pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances. Promotes and explains other financial institution services such as certificates of deposit, safe deposit boxes, and cashier’s checks. Ensures that the Interactive Teller machine is stocked with currency and coin Responsible for answering phones and chat inquiries from customers. Assist customers with mobile banking, debit cards and online banking. Possess a working knowledge of debit card behavior and technology. Handle customer complaints and grievances in a professional manner and escalate to supervisor or management directly. Maintain customer confidence and protect bank operations by keeping information confidential. Receive mortgage, consumer loan and other loan payments and issues a receipt. Perform a variety of customer service transactions, such as account holds and check confirmation. Continually maintaining up-to-date databases Collaborating with vendors (such as Jack Henry) to efficiently collect and maintain data/ run reports. Reporting and creating tickets for machine errors as they occur. Perform nightly report upload. Assist the deposit operations team in remaining up to date on insufficient accounts, debit card activations and fraudulent activity, etc. Process mail for the department as needed. Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing tasks in a timely manner, as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Equipment Operated: Office computer with MS Office products, statistical tools, fax, copier, telephone and computer printer. Work Environment: Work is performed primarily sitting behind a desk with regular face-to-face as well as phone contact with employees and customers. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others while standing, sitting or walking, and using hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects.
