ASRC Federal System Solutions LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Hazardous Material Coordinator who willsupport efforts around the site to remain in compliance with Federal, State and Air Force regulations.

Responsibilities:
•    Support a dynamic Contract that has multiple sites that are either in test or performing test build-up
•    Obtain and reconcile HazMat inventory for ASRC Federal work sites monthly
•    Learn local Hazardous Waste Accumulation regulations and perform inspections at ASRC Federal accumulation points.
•    Support all ASRC Federal areas by ensuring all HazMat is documented, properly stored, tracked and the area is current with the AFRL for inventory  
•    Ensure every area has an SDS for the HazMat in its area
•    Work with RQIO Operations personnel to ensure the ASRC Federal HazMat inventory is uploaded and available on a portable system for Emergency Management use
•    Assist the ASRC Federal Safety Manager by issuing and tracking to completion employee physicals, safety eye prescriptions and steel-toed boot forms
•    Must be willing to travel to local sites and perform audits and report the site’s compliance
•    Must be able to track and follow-up with areas to ensure follow-up is complete
•    Must be able to support other duties as assigned
•    Intermediate knowledge and usage of MS Office Tool Suite
•    Must be able to influence personnel that do not work directly for you
•    Must be able to work out in the field performing reviews and performing inspections and monitoring work efforts
•    Must have excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills
•    Must be able to make professional presentations to the customer
•    Must be punctual with attendance at the work site and reporting information to the customer
 
Education/Experience
•    Experience managing emergency equipment
•    BS + 0-2 years of related experience
•    Technical Writing ability
•    Demonstrated increase in experience and abilities.
 
Additional Qualifications:
•    Must be able to work at heights and depths.
•    Work overtime with little notification.
•    Must be able to work in extreme heat and extreme cold

Clearance:
•    Ability to obtain DOD Secret Clearance required
