Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Flight Test / EMD Test Strategic Planner that will be supporting emerging program at our Edwards AFB, CA location.
This individual will provide planning guidance to support the development and test of advanced aircraft.聽The role will Interact daily with Air Force program managers and industry subject matter experts across multiple domains (air, space, cyber) to assist the government with technical assessments, strategic planning, and engineering evaluations.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽Responsible for planning the testing progression of a major Engineering & Manufacturing Development (EMD) flight test program.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽Coordinate with engineers as to the types of tests to be completed.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽Determine what tests can be performed in what order, considering interdependencies and prerequisites.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽Interface with System Program Office and Prime Contractor regarding test planning and scheduling.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽Participate in trade studies related to planning of test events.
Requirements:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽Strong background in Flight Sciences, Avionics, Weapons, and EW flight test.
Desired Requirements:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽Participation in a previous major EMD flight test. program as an Engineer, Test Conductor, or Test Pilot.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽Experience with program management.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽Experience with or knowledge of systems engineering processes and procedures.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽Experience on cross functional teams comprised of engineering, program management and operations personnel technicians to successfully execute developmental test. Education Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field of study is required.
Clearance Requirements:
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility.
U.S. Citizenship is required
The pay range for this position in California is $155,000/year to $198,000/ year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. MTSI also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
