- Assists with patient care including obtaining and recording vital signs, maintaining patient documentation, and completing administrative duties.Ā
- Establishes and maintains eļ¬ective working relationships with healthcare providers, patients, and staļ¬.
- Fields patient phone calls promptly and professionally. Engages in patient communication, education, and support as directed by the healthcare provider or provider team.
- Participates in maintaining the therapeutic setting of the clinical space.
- Ensures cleanliness, adequate stock of supplies and functioning equipment in patient care areas. Replaces supplies depleted on a daily basis. Cleans and prepares patient care areas, equipment and tools. Completes shift opening and closing procedures.
- Follows established departmental policies and procedures, OSHA Rules and Regulations, environmental and infection control standards.
- Ensures compliance with local, internal, state, federal, and regulatory standards and compliance including quality assurance, safety, infection control, and environmental procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.Ā

- Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience of direct patient care or community behavioral health experience or successful completion of Vail Healthās Behavioral Health Technician competencies required

- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certiļ¬cation from Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or Therapeutic Options⢠training preferred
