Healthcare United is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join a fully EM residency-trained and board-certified team in East Central Illinois. This full-time opportunity features day and evening shifts only — no overnights — with a schedule of approximately fifteen 10-hour shifts per month in a recently renovated 32-bed emergency department. The department is well staffed with 50 hours of daily physician coverage plus 30 hours of APP coverage.

- Evaluate and treat adult and pediatric patients in a 32-bed emergency department
- Work day and evening shifts only — no overnight requirements
- Collaborate with APP coverage and consulting specialists
- Coordinate admissions with adult and pediatric hospitalist teams
- Perform emergency procedures within full scope of EM training
- Participate in departmental quality and throughput initiatives
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation

Requirements
- MD or DO degree required
- Emergency Medicine residency training required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Eligible for or active Illinois medical license
- 2027 residency graduates considered; must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)
