Position Summary

We are seeking a Lead Price & Proposal Analyst to support a high‑priority DoW program office at Eglin AFB. In this influential government-side role, you will evaluate contractor price proposals, guide negotiation strategy, and serve as the central coordinator for all proposal actions entering the program.

 

***Candidates must have an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain a Top-Secret clearance and SAP access. ***

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze contractor price proposals for reasonableness, completeness, and realism using FAR 15.404 techniques.
  • Develop pre‑negotiation objectives and advise contracting officers through fact-finding and negotiations.
  • Act as the single point of intake and coordination for all incoming proposals, tracking progress and driving timely execution to award.
  • Review BOEs, labor and material estimates, and rate structures to identify risks and cost drivers.
  • Support creation of negotiation documentation, including PNM inputs and weighted guidelines analysis.
  • Partner closely with DCAA, DCMA, contracting teams, and technical evaluators throughout source selection and negotiations.
  • Compare contractor proposals to the IGCE and highlight deltas, drivers, and evaluation findings.

 

Required Qualifications

  • US Citizen and MUST HAVE Active Secret Clearance and able to obtain Top Secret and SAP access
  • Over 12 years of experience managing or developing proposals within industry;
  • More than five (5) years serving in a lead or supervisory proposal role;
  • At least five (5) years supporting a weapons system or platform‑focused program office;
  • Extensive knowledge of weighted guidelines, IGCE development, PNMs, DCAA/DCMA coordination, and managing concurrent proposal activities; and
  • Advanced proficiency with ProPricer, complex Excel modeling, and quantitative cost‑analysis techniques.

 

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed in a secure, classified office environment where noise levels may range from low to moderate.
  • Limited overnight travel may be required from time to time.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Expected Salary Range: $170,000$190,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, and contract‑specific factors.
