CERTIFICATION: Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) certification required with 14 months of assuming duties

TRAVEL: 0-10%

 

 

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Security Manager to join the Information Security Team supporting the Air Force Armament Directorate at EGLIN AFB, FL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in bolstering the Directorate's efforts by providing steadfast day-to-day acquisition program security throughout various program lifecycles. Your responsibilities will encompass unwavering adherence to all pertinent government directives related to Special Access Programs (SAP), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Collateral security requirements.

 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Associates degree + 15 years relevant experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance by date of hire. 
  • Must obtain and maintain a Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) certification within 12 months of hire date. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • System Security Documents. Provide knowledge and experience in development of system security management plans, program protection plans, security risk analyses, OPSEC plans, computer assessment and authorization, security vulnerability and countermeasures analyses, security CONOPS, and other system security engineering-related documents identified in MIL-STD 1785 Military Standard: System Security Engineering Program Management Requirements DoDI 5000.02, , and DoDI 8510.01, Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology (IT).
  • Program Security Management. Provide knowledge and experience in acquisition program security management:
  • Have experience with multiple databases: NISS, DISS, JADE, EQIP and various access control systems.
  • Database/Classified Holdings. Maintain databases that reflect receipt, storage, inventory, and disposition of classified information to include data entry, updates, and generation of reports.
  • Audits. Participate in audits of Government classified holdings to ensure proper accountability.
  • Database/Visitors. Maintain databases of classified visits and clearance/access levels.
  • Classified Information. Perform inspection, inventory, logging, storage, documentation, transmittal and internal distribution of classified information received.
  • Security Protection. Provide security inspection and protection to areas where classified information is stored and design and establish security procedures and policies.
  • Security Training. Develop and provide security awareness and other security education programs.
  • Personnel Security Program. Review and verify qualifications for access to special access programs.
  • Lock Combinations. Only Contractor Acquisition Information Protection Managers are authorized to record lock combinations. Other EPASS LCATS shall not record lock combina
  • Audits. Participate in audits of Government classified holdings to ensure proper accountability.

  • Prepare acquisition security related sections of acquisition program documentation;
  • Provide security support to source selections.
