Job DetailsJob Location: Buschwood - Tampa, FL 33618Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $75,000.00 Salary  Mission Statement The Children’s Network of Hillsborough is committed to working with the community to protect children and preserve families.   General Purpose of Job To assist the Information Technology Department in support of the System of Care infrastructure for the Children's Network of Hillsborough as well as supporting facility and building maintenance requirements.   QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities Networking & Routing: Manage routers and Layer 3 switches, configure routing, and maintain network infrastructure. Cloud & Microsoft Services: Administer Azure/Entra, Intune/Autopilot, and other Microsoft administrative applications. Network Security: Implement and monitor firewalls, VPNs, EDR/XDR, SIEM, and other security measures. Backup & Disaster Recovery: Maintain and test backup systems and disaster recovery plans, both local and remote. Hardware & Software Management: Set up, configure, and maintain new hardware and software; manage RMM, Patching, Imaging, and other backend systems. End-User Support: Provide technical support to users locally and remotely; troubleshoot issues across desktops, servers, and network systems. Documentation: Create and maintain technical knowledge base, standard operating procedures, and data center emergency measures documentation. Monitoring & Maintenance: Conduct proactive monitoring, patching, troubleshooting, and system upgrades. Review system and network logs to identify and remediate potential threats. Emergency/Environmental Systems: Maintain and ensure operational readiness of emergency and environmental systems. Building Maintenance: Respond to building maintenance issues and coordinate repairs with vendors for all Children’s Network locations. Develop and maintain vendor relationships to support facility needs. Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and agency goals, as needed and appropriate to the position. Working HOurs Children’s Network of Hillsborough’s standard business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This position is an in-office based position with fieldwork requirements. Work hours may vary outside of these standard hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to meet operational demands. All hours worked will be compensated in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and agency policies, including applicable overtime and other compensation requirements   Travel Travel within and outside of Hillsborough County is required. The employee must be able to drive and have reliable transportation to perform the essential functions of the position.   Training All employees are required to complete fifteen (15) hours of training annually, which may be completed online or in a classroom setting. Employees who hold a credential or license relevant to their position must ensure that all training and continuing education requirements are met to maintain their credential or licensure.   Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not have supervisory responsibilities   Qualifications  Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in information technology/related field or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in enterprise network/server administration and/or MSP operations at the Engineer Level. Certifications preferred – Microsoft/Cloud, CompTIA (Network +, Security +, Project +), Cisco, ITIL, or other. Technical Experience – Win 10/11 administration, Windows Server administration (AD users/groups, GPOs, DNS/DHCP, Certificate management), Entra, Exchange Online, Conditional Access, imaging and provisioning of endpoints, patch management, endpoint security, networking basics, phishing awareness, endpoint protection concepts, etc.   Skills and Abilities The ideal candidate demonstrates strong architectural forethought and planning, excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to maximize productivity. They possess in-depth knowledge of current Microsoft Windows operating systems and management technologies and are comfortable working in both command-line and headless environments. Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills are essential, along with a solid foundation in basic routing and switching. This position also requires the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, management, and external stakeholders.   MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Demonstrates strong mathematical skills essential for analyzing data, managing budgets, and optimizing operational efficiency. Proficient in performing financial calculations, interpreting statistical data, and developing forecasts, they support data-driven decision-making and strategic planning. Their expertise includes working with complex metrics, identifying trends, and evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure informed operational adjustments.   REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to be proactive, as well as handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.   Physical Demands This role requires the ability to perform field and community-based work, including traveling to various locations. This role requires physical agility, including bending, stretching, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs, as well as maneuvering under desks to install or troubleshoot hardware. The noise level in the office is typically moderate.
