Position Summary:
Under the Supervision of the PACE Assistant Manager, ensures all visitors and participants are welcomed and screened. Answer telephones, greets, assists, and directs visitors, patients and other clinic office callers.

Essential Functions of the Job:
- Greets people upon arrival, answers telephones, routes callers, provides information to visitors, staff and participants.
- Responsible for checking in all participants and visitors upon arrival to the Day Center.
- Assists all visitors and participants by providing guidance and directions. Calls for an escort when necessary.
- Ongoingly tracks daily attendance and monitors transportation services as appropriate.
- Schedules appointments as needed.
- Is knowledgeable of regulatory requirements and makes recommendations to improve service delivery (as appropriate).
- Knowledgeable of PACE eligibility criteria and can speak to interested parties of basic PACE criteria.
- Assists in care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
- Provides assistance to PACE Center Leadership as needed.
- Interfaces, assists, and acts as liaison between PACE Administration and other departments.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
- Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings.
- Attends meetings as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Job Requirements
Experience Required (Minimum level of experience):
- 1 year of experience working with a frail, elderly population.
- 1 year of receptionist or front desk experience.

Education Required:
- High School or equivalent

Certifications Required:
- Current BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR (American Heart Association)

Verbal and Written Skills Required to Perform the Job:
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Technical Knowledge and Skills Required to Perform the Job:
- Verbal ability for accurate and tactful explanation.
- Excellent Computer skills.

Equipment Used:
- Multi-extension phones; CRT/PC, Typewriter and other office machines.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- May be required to lift approximately 25 lbs. Mostly sitting position.
- May be required to travel to other sites.
- May be required to work evenings and/or weekends.

Universal Requirements:
