We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to serve as the primary link between our clients, logistics and warehouse operations. The Waste Coordinator will manage high-volume inquiries and accounts, coordinate complex shipping/receiving logistics, and ensure every shipment strictly adheres to DOT and EPA regulations.

Job Duties
Â
• Customer Support & Communication: Take & manage inbound/outbound calls and responding promptly to customer inquiries via email and telephone regarding hazardous, non hazardous, medical, universal and e-waste shipments. Communicate customer needs/inquiries with Client Support Services & Solutions Sales Managers.
• Documentation Management & Compliance: Prepare and print daily work-orders, hazardous and non-hazardous manifests, medical waste shipping documents, bill of ladings for universal and e-waste and any additional documentations. Review documentation to ensure it is compliant with DOT and EPA requirements. Manage scanning,photo coping and reviewing inbound/outbound and direct bound documentations.
• Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with Logistics Supervisor/Manager, warehouse team and external carriers with scheduling pickups and deliveries ensuring on-time performance and optimal routing.
• Problem Resolution: Research and assist resolve customer or TSDF inquiries regarding held, distressed or non compliant shipments.
• Data Management: Maintain and update customer account information. Making sure client profiles and pricing are current and approved. Assist with inbound waste verification and data back-entry. Assist CSS with data entry.
• Non-Essential: Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of shipping receiving hazardous waste strongly preferred.
• 1-3 years of shipping receiving and warehouse management experience preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong leadership skills, oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Sound problem solving ability is a must.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Track & report all customer variances in real-time.
• Computer skills and knowledge of data entry and inventory software programs.
• Oversee accurate and timely generation of shipping documents and logs.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, kneel and reach.
• Professional phone etiquette and ability to relay technical information between departments.
