About the Role:
The Laundry Staff position is essential to maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our facility by ensuring all linens, uniforms, and other washable items are properly cleaned, dried, and prepared for use. This role involves operating industrial laundry equipment efficiently while adhering to safety and quality protocols. The successful candidate will contribute to a smooth workflow by sorting laundry, treating stains, and managing inventory of laundry supplies. Attention to detail and time management are critical to meet daily processing targets and support overall operational efficiency. Ultimately, this role supports the broader team by providing consistently clean and well-maintained textiles that enhance the comfort and satisfaction of our clients and staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and effectively.
- Basic understanding of fabric care and stain removal techniques.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a commercial laundry or similar environment.
- Knowledge of industrial laundry chemicals and their safe handling.
- Familiarity with inventory management and supply ordering processes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and washing requirements to prevent damage and ensure optimal cleaning.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
- Treat stains and pre-soak items as necessary to achieve the best cleaning results.
- Fold, iron, and organize clean laundry for distribution or storage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including routine cleaning of machines and workspaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of detergents, fabric softeners, and other supplies, and report needs to management.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Tuesday-Saturday 9pm-5am
