In this role, you’ll do more than teach music—you’ll inspire, mentor, and walk alongside students as they grow academically, creatively, and spiritually. As a teacher in our school, you’ll serve in a role of care and leadership during the school day, modeling Christ-centered attitudes, words, and actions both in and out of the classroom. Your influence will help shape students into confident, compassionate, and responsible individuals who seek to honor God in all they do. Endorse and comport with the CUSSD Articles of Faith, & Staff Code of Ethics. 5. Place Christ and His Word at the center of knowledge and learning. 6. Possess spiritual maturity, academic ability, and personal leadership qualities to train up a child in the way he should go. 7. Possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. 8. Possess or will possess within the first year of CUSSD employment an ACSI temporary teacher certification. 9. Retain state-issued teacher credentials, or 10. Possess or will possess within five years of CUSSD employment commencement a current valid state-issued teaching credential. 11. Exceptional oral and written communication.
