Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position operates various types of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and auxiliary equipment to provide diagnostic images for interpretation by a Radiologist. This position also performs clerical and transport duties in the absence of those personnel on an as needed basis.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Licensure/

Certification:

Current Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification required via American Registry of Radiological Technologists ARRT or equivalent.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Current California Venipuncture certification strongly preferred.

Knowledge:

Minimum of one-year experience in MRI procedures required.

Skills:

Ability to physically lift, maneuver and/or manipulate patients and equipment.
Manual dexterity to operate equipment controls and switches.
