Summary
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate slant line equipment in both upstairs and downstairs production areas.
- Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments to setups, calibrations, and alignments as required.
- Follow all safety rules, plant policies, safety standards, and safe work practices.
- Produce quality products by following work instructions, SOPs, One-Point Lessons, and training materials.
- Maintain compliance with 5S standards and support ISO 9001 requirements.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers to support production goals.
- Follow direction from supervisors and assist with additional duties as assigned.
- Adhere to the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct Standards.
Success in This Role
- Maintain a safe work environment and contribute to accident-free operations.
- Meet on-time-to-warehouse production targets.
- Support achievement of 5S objectives.
- Identify opportunities to improve setup times and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required.
- Associate Degree, WAGE Certification, or relevant manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to safely and physically move materials as required.
- Ability to successfully complete and pass the lift truck operator safety course.
- Strong reading comprehension and basic math skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to operate a workstation computer.
- Ability to use stairs to access the upstairs operator area.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays when business needs require.
