We are seeking an experienced and energetic Daycare Teacher to join our team! You will be responsible for encouraging children’s intellectual, psychological, and physical growth. Responsibilities
- Plan games and activities that are developmentally appropriate
- Design a daily and weekly schedule
- Provide basic care and caregiving activities
- Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones
- Communicate with parents and update them on their children’s activities
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
- Follow daily schedules, lesson plans, and classroom routines.
- Assist with diapering, potty training, feeding, and other daily care needs as appropriate.
- Observe and document children's development and progress.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding their child's day.
- Maintain accurate attendance and required classroom documentation.
- Follow all state licensing regulations, health and safety procedures.
- Work cooperatively with fellow teachers and administration.
- Model positive behavior and encourage children through patience, kindness, and consistency.
