SUMMARY

Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and upkeep of work areas, restrooms, and common spaces.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

路 Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work environment throughout the facility

路 Performs routine cleaning tasks throughout the facility such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting

路 Cleans and sanitizes restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas

路 Empties trash and recycling and disposes of waste properly

路 Restock supplies like paper products, soap, and other facility items

路 Maintains floors, carpets, windows, and surfaces to keep them in good condition

路 Operates and maintains cleaning tools and equipment (vacuums, floor scrubbers, etc.)

路 Assists with room setups for meetings or events when needed

路 Follows safety procedures and works as part of a team to meet cleaning and maintenance standards

路 Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

HS Diploma

Minimum of 1 year cleaning experience is required

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
