The person in this role coordinates Catholic Charities’ client services, financial and environmental assistance program within a region. May supervise the work of employees and/or volunteers.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises, directs, trains, assigns, and evaluates work of assigned personnel and volunteers.
- Decides how to allocate funds used to provide financial assistance to clients in need of emergency food, shelter, clothing, rental assistance, transportation, medical and special needs.
- Assists regional Director plan and implement new methods of service delivery consistent with the Agency’s mission statement.
- Provides direct case management services to clients.
- Provides information, referrals and advocacy for clients whose needs are not met here.
- Administers and organizes various programs. Coordinates services and functions between satellite offices.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, FEMA reports, and department memos.
- Monitors daily expenditures for financial assistance. Reviews and approves department’s financial transactions.
- Provides consultation to staff and other Agency or community representatives.
- Helps plan and implement staff development programs to improve the quality and effectiveness of services.
- Maintains, promotes, and develops office procedures.
- Displays sensitivity to the client population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
- Performs related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Three to five years of related experience.
- State program contract administration.
- Assistance with policies and procedures.
- Basic accounting and budget preparation
