Direct Support Professional 1 (Full-Time) – La Puente, CA

Pay: $21.00/hr DOE
Shifts: Full-Time Thursday - Saturday PM & Sunday - Monday NOC
Location: La Puente, CA 91744

Redwood Family Care Network provides person-centered support to adults with developmental disabilities. DSPs promote safety, dignity, and independence while helping clients with daily living and behavioral support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with hygiene, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, and meal prep

• Follow Individual Program Plans and daily routines

• Support behavior redirection through activities (walking, reading, games, computer tasks)

• Transport clients in company vehicles as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED; CPR/First Aid; CPI; DSP 1 required

• 1+ year of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illness preferred

• Valid driver’s license (21+), insurance, and clean driving record (≤2 points)

• Able to lift 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors in all weather

• Must pass background check and other pre-employment screenings
