Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a talented Sr. Contract Manager to join our growing team! In this role you will get to manage all contract activity for a major program, playing a key role in managing complex contractual relationships and driving successful outcomes.

We are seeking passionate, skilled, and experienced professionals to join a major program and construction management team that is dedicated to supporting a large government customer in successfully delivering on a significant infrastructure project central to the United States' border security programs.

In our anticipated role, Parsons will provide Owner Agent Construction Management Services including Program Management, Construction Management, Risk Management, Scheduling, Cost Estimating, Progress Reporting, Construction Quality Assurance, Safety, and other supporting services to achieve program success.

What You'll Be Doing :
  • Manage the cradle-to-grave contract administration with a major US Federal Government customer.
  • Lead negotiations for professional services, engineering services and construction programs
  • Analyze and advise program and contract leadership on contractual issues and risks.
  • Implement solutions to resolve contract challenges.
  • Negotiate difficult, complex, or sensitive issues with the client and other contractors.
  • Lead execution contracts team in supporting customer as their agent in administering contracts.
  • Collaborate with directorate and project management to ensure proper support in proposal preparation, as well as contract negotiations and administration.
  • Review and resolve issues with the Federal Government customer Contracting Officer. requests for proposals to identify risks and contractual terms not conforming to company policy.
  • Manages team of Contract Administrators.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to assigned personnel ensuring proficiency and timeliness of contract administration.
  • Make staffing assignments and reassignments as company and project needs arise.
  • Offers personnel development, conducts performance evaluations, counsels, and takes corrective action as required.
  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
  • 10%-20% travel anticipated.

What Required Skills You'll Bring :
  • JD in Law or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • 15+ years of prime contract administration experience is required within a large international engineering and construction firm is required.
  • Must be able to obtain appropriate DHS suitability determination
  • Requires a comprehensive knowledge of industry business practices and prime contract negotiations.
  • In depth knowledge of FARs and DFARs.
  • Thorough understanding of CPFF, FFP, and T&M contract structures.
  • Possess strong written/oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of PC software packages typically associated with contract administration. Ability to perform in a management capacity is also required.
