After 36 years of operating in the commercial zone between Mexico and the US, we are your #1 trucking and warehousing strategic partner.br /br /strongSchedule:/strongbr /12:00 PM - 10:00 PM Monday through Friday-Rotating Saturdaysbr /br /strongJob Summary/strongbr /The Local Dispatcher will assist in providing direction and communication with Local Division Drivers; ensuring contact compliance, system monitoring, and coordinating deliveries in order to maintain on-time performance, maximize efficiency, and minimize customer wait times as well as service disruptions.br /strongResponsibilities/strong/pol liSet positive example for Local Drivers by providing support and positive leadership./li liResponsible for positive employee morale and quality customer service./li liAssess staffing needs as determined by service hours and peak delivery periods./li liEnsure dispatch protocols are in compliance with both client and company policies and procedures./li liParticipate in the training programs for new hires./li liMonitor dispatch performance as it relates to driver incidents, equipment failure, vehicle breakdowns, and other potential service disruptions./li liEnsure timely communications with other departments (including warehouses) of load changes./li/olstrongQualifications/strongul liMust have a high school diploma or GED/li liMinimum 1 year or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience./li liExperience with McLeod (Strongly preferred)./li liExcellent interpersonal and communication skills/li liAbility to read and interpret documents.
