Assistant Contract Maintenance Manager

Valiant is looking for an Alternate Contract Maintenance Manager (ACMM) to join our team. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The ACMM supports and serves as the designated backup to the Contract Maintenance Manager (CMM) for all maintenance and operational requirements under the Fort Bliss Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) task order.
• The ACMM must be fully qualified to assume all CMM responsibilities and authority when required.
• This position ensures uninterrupted contract performance, emergency response coordination, regulatory compliance, and operational oversight of healthcare facility systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

CERTIFICAITON REQUIREMENTS:  American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM).

REQUIRED QUALFICATIONS:

• 5+ years’ experience supporting Joint Commission compliance including:
  • Maintenance documentation
  • Testing, certification, and verification requirements
  • DMLSS work request and maintenance documentation systems
  • Environment of Care and Life Safety compliance programs
• Have formal training related to The Joint Commission Environment of Care (EOC) and Life Safety Code standards
• Possess working knowledge of:
  • NFPA Codes and Standards
  • EPA Regulations
  • OSHA Regulations
  • Joint Commission Requirements
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.

PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS:   Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
