  • Current BLS certification is required, and CAOCH certification is highly desired.
  • The position offers a structured Monday-Friday schedule and competitive compensation, including overtime opportunities, as part of a stable 6-month contract with up to 4 years of options.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Receive and orient service members for hearing tests
  • Explain testing methods and procedures
  • Perform otoscopic examinations
  • Conduct hearing tests in multi-person sound booth using DOEHRS-HC
  • Perform daily function checks and biological calibrations
  • Review test results for quality control
  • Maintain, clean, and sterilize equipment
  • Document all test results in electronic health record
  • Restock supplies as needed
Qualifications Needed
  • Education: Certificate from occupational hearing conservationist course OR military hearing program training
  • Certification: CAOCH certification (Hearing Conservationist) highly desired
  • BLS: Current certification required
  • Experience: 1+ year as audiology technician within last 2 years
  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizen
