Job Summary

The Fire Alarm Technician is responsible for diagnosing, installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining equipment, as well as ensuring that it meets safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

路 Familiarity with fire alarm systems required. Familiar with Intrusion detection, access control, and video surveillance systems is a plus.

路 Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment and systems to ensure proper

路 functioning.

路 Identify and troubleshoot issues or malfunctions in equipment and systems.

路 Repair or replace faulty components, parts, or systems.

路 Conduct tests and calibrations to verify equipment performance and accuracy.

路 Install, assemble, and dismantle equipment and systems as required.

路 Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

路 Document all maintenance and repair activities.

路 Collaborate with other team members and departments to resolve technical issues.

路 Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and technologies to provide effective solutions.

路 Provide technical support and assistance to customers or end-users.

路 Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skill & Other Requirements

路 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

路 Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina.

路 Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations.

路 Ability to handle multiple projects at once, switching between various tasks quickly.

路 Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

路 High school diploma or equivalent; required.

路 Technical certification or associate degree in a related field; preferred.

路 Strong knowledge of technical systems, equipment, and tools.

路 Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.

路 Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
