We are seeking an experienced Lead Installer to support the nationwide deployment, installation, testing, and sustainment of the Tower Simulation System program. The Lead Installer will serve as the senior technical authority responsible for leading all installation, configuration, testing, and validation activities at designated Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) facilities across the National Airspace System. The Lead Installer will direct and supervise installation teams, serve as the primary point of contact with stakeholders, and ensure all installations are completed in accordance with the system specification, site-specific requirements, and program schedule across.
Key Responsibilities
Installation Team Leadership & Supervision
- Direct and supervise installation teams across all installation activities including:
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure all installation activities are completed on schedule and within scope
- Coordinate with the Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager on all installation status, issues, and risks
- Ensure all installation activities comply with FAA facility access, safety, and security requirements
Site Preparation & Installation
- Lead all pre-installation site survey and readiness validation activities
- Document all test results, deficiencies, and resolutions
- Manage deficiency resolution processes
Documentation Leadership
- Lead production and delivery of all site-specific as-built documentation following each installation within 5 business days of installation completion
- Support preparation and delivery of installation status inputs to all Program Management Reviews and Monthly Status Reports
- Coordinate with the Scheduler/Project Analyst to ensure installation activities align with the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
- Coordinate with the Logistics Manager to ensure timely delivery of equipment, spare parts, and consumables to installation sites
- Coordinate with FSRs on travel schedules, site readiness, and installation logistics
